Two Theories of Change

America's corporate oligarchy has no interest whatsoever in philosophy, be it French, English, Irish, Scot, or Martian. It strives to reintroduce a medieval circumstance of barons and serfs with themselves in position to rule by whim. Other interpretations are merely intellectual masturbation. Those who suppose that the common good is a consideration in their efforts have been successfully deluded.

There has never been a government that could rule by whim for more than a few years. They have been pulled down relatively quickly. The First French Republic learned to that nations sorrow. Tallyrand could not control his mob.

The Tea Party will self destruct soon if it has not already.
