Scientists Fault U.S. Response in Assessing Gulf Oil Spill
Prominent oceanographers are accusing the government of failing to conduct an adequate analysis of the damage and of allowing BP to obscure the spill’s true scope.
I suspect piling on. The details will come out. Just not soon enough. It was too late when the well blew out.
The mid water oil is either not important or will surface in the Florida strait. There is nothing we can do about it.
I suspect it is floating on the thermocline. Hundreds of feet below the surface. The water there is stationary or very nearly so.
I will have to look into the formation of the thermocline there. The equatorial drift should be all warm.
