Review Cites Flaws in U.S. Antimissile Program
These missiles were never intended to work. Instead they were intended to convince the Soviets (remember them?) that they would work and to make a lot of money for the companies that made the missiles. Now they are intended to make the North Koreans or Iranians believe that our defensive missiles work, but frankly, my dear, those countries don't give a damn. Of course, our defense contractors do, so that's good enough.
For the contractors, it is. Just do not trust them to work at need. Make it work or stop the bleeding.
Defence money cannot be assigned to other problems. The money is fictitious.
