Repaying Taxpayers With Their Own Cash

Senator Charles E. Grassley of Iowa says General Motors’ repayment of its federal bailout loan “appears to be nothing more than an elaborate TARP money shuffle.”

We as taxpayers own 87% of GM. They are in receivership and have no independence of action. The Republicans should not complain about how they are running our assets.
