A Missile Defense Goal That Never Was

America and Israel are the only two country in the world who need missile defense shield. In order to justify the Defense Shield we need to create enemies. We are working very hard at that. But a bigger question still remains unanswered. Is any country with right mind would ever launch missile at America? The answer is definitely none. Walls prolonged the life span of the shell of the Byzantine Empire for few centuries. But any country which depends on walls (shields) for its survival normally crumbles inside the walls.

The English here is doubtful. The understanding of the story is about on the level of senator DeMint's understanding of missile defence and its interdependence with MAD.

Missile defence is a spending program. It is intended to keep a defence contractor in being during a depression. Armaments are some of the few things we make in this country. We need self sustaining jobs to exit our economic trap.

The diplomats seem to not know their job.
