Lost Decade Looming?

The problem is simple: we have two unfinished wars started by Cheny-Bush and an unfinished depression started by Cheney-Bush. Their cohorts are now the minority party in a time of crisis comparable to 1930. Their critical role is loyal opposition- not political posturing. They need to be working with the majority in a sensible response to this crisis. Their leadership is pathetic- no brains, no vision, no grasp of the problems- and their role in dealing with them. So, being long time pols, they sulk and focus on politics- the fall elections. Having no program, it is relatively easy for them to settle on obstruction and NO! Too bad. No one ever claimed D's were courageous. They think- they reflect, but they need help acting. Come on R's! Shoulder to the wheel! If you don't know what's up, Krugman does. Get out of his way.
