A Homecoming in a New Home - City Room Blog

After several months of homelessness, a noted Nuyorican poet touches down in a studio in East Harlem.

I can sleep and eat in a studio apartment. I spend most of my time in working studio spaces. These tend to be loud, hot, dusty or smelly or wet or otherwise not conducive to social interaction or ingestion. A farm has a house and barns along with fields. I like the public but it prevents work.
