Going to Extreme

Yes. One might say that the two-party political system is guaranteed to produce extremism. The only problem is that far-left polices trend toward benefitting the whole, while the far-right damages society at large, hurting those hardest who have fewest options. Since they are so selfish, they see no need to support or pay for anything govermnent does - unless it's for the U.S military (the massive government program that works). Only in the richest nation on earth can so many not want universal health coverage.

I only wish that we had a bipolar politics in the physical sense too.

the crazy situation we have is there is right and far right. There is no accessible middle in this time.

insane economics may get us a sane politics yet.
