It's so refreshing to read legitimate criticism of the Church, especially on such a repulsive subject. It's shameful but hardly surprising that the Pope and his circle have taken the belligerent 'woe is us' position. Arrogance prevails, as usual. The question I ask is, What would Jesus say or do if he were living here now?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesus would have been shot by now by one side or the other if he had been born 35 years ago.
As a Hebrew living in Israel he would be required to serve in the military. His delusions, if any, would be treated. He could say anything he wished. If he acted, he would be prosecuted, treated, or sequestered as a military secret.
He would be denied entry into the Rabinate for missing yeshiva. More?
