The Ecstasy of Fiscal Policy

Why is the federal sales tax called a Value Added tax? it adds no value to what a person is buying. This term is doublespeak. Call it what it is--Federal Sales Tax

And a splendidly bad idea at that.

It is a tax on value and should be negative, like the value it taxes.

Cognitive Dissonance Has seized Mr. Brooks.

Third stage siffalis does that to a brain.

A VAT is flat. Silly rich people like that.
